Procedures at Ports of Entry

This section of the site covers rules pertaining to the ports of entry, including both general topics and port-specific information, with the object of making the border crossing process as efficient as possible. With recent increased scrutiny at the border to ensure homeland security, it is important to understand applicable requirements and restrictions to minimize border delays.  If transporters come prepared with everything they need for border crossing, such delays should be kept to a minimum.
